About this zine:
To Rise Again: A Mydeimos Zine is a tentatively P4P (Pay-For-Production) fanzine dedicated to the newly crowned King of Castrum Kremnos, Mydeimos! Our goal is to provide you all with a zine featuring art, fic, and merch of our beloved Mydei.

Will other characters be featured in this zine?
Other characters can be featured, but we will ensure that the focus of each piece is on Mydei. This includes any add-on zine(s) as well.

Is there a theme for this zine?
The theme is Mydeimos! This zine will contain canonverse fics, and may include AU fics as well depending on the Interest Check!

Will AU content be included in the main zine?
We would love to include AU in this zine! The IC will determine if and how much AU content will be included though.

Will there be NSFW in the main zine? Will there be NSFW in the side zine?
Currently, we are not planning to have NSFW in the main zine. We may have a NSFW add-on zine with a possibly Mydei pin-up calendar, but that depends on the Interest Check.

If there is enough interest, yes, we hope to have a nsfw add-on.

Will the main zine include ships? Will you have a shipping add-on?
Currently, we are not planning on having ships in the main zine. We may have a shipping add-on if there is enough interest in it in the Interest Check.

How old do you have to be to apply?
If we do move forward with the NSFW add-on, the minimum age requirement will be 18+ at time of application submission.

If we do NOT move forward with the NSFW add-on, the minimum age requirement will be 16+. However, you will need to confirm that you have permission to receive a package from us if our physical compensation goals are met.

Will this zine be a for profit zine?
Our aim is to be a pay for production (P4P) zine, but it could change to a for profit or charity based off of the Interest Check

What does P4P mean?
Pay-for-Production means the zine and merch are sold as close as possible to production prices. This means there will be little to no profits earned from sales. If there are still profits after compensating contributors with a free book, merch, and/or shipping, it may be donated or split among mods and contributors, based on the Interest Check.

How many contributors are you looking to accept?
The Interest Check will determine our final numbers in terms of writers, page artists, and merch artists. We will also include how many guests we are inviting along with those numbers to make it clear how many folks we are accepting in total.

Will there be any guests?
We will be reaching out to a few guests that the mods have suggested. Additionally, if anyone has any recommendations (via the Interest Check) and they accept, then yes! Guest numbers are to be determined at this time.

Is AI usage allowed in this zine?
Any usage of AI is not allowed in this zine.

Do I have to make a new piece for this zine?
Yes, an entirely new, never before seen piece must be created for this zine.

Am I allowed to share any wips of my piece? Can I stream working on my piece?
No. No wips or streaming of your zine piece is allowed. There will be a designated period closer to pre-orders in which previews of the pieces will be posted via our social media accounts. If we see that you have posted any wips, you will be asked to take it down.

Your piece and its contents should remain private until you are given the go ahead by the mod team.

Do I still have the rights to my piece at the end of the zine?
Yes. Once the zine is closed and after the time period in which we ask you to hold onto your piece in private, you are free to do with your piece what you wish.

What are your application guidelines?
Application guidelines will be posted closer to the application period.

Will the content I make outside of the server have any effect on my application?
No, with caveats. If you are found posting hate speech of any kind, harassing others, or any other type of harmful/hateful behavior, your application will be rejected. If you are found to be doing so while in the zine, you will be removed from the project. This project has a zero tolerance for such behavior.

Do I need zine experience to apply?
Not at all! We welcome folks with any level of experience in zines to apply!

Can I apply for more than one role?
Yes, but you will only be accepted for one role.

What will contributors be compensated with?
At minimum, all contributors will be compensated with digital versions of the zines as well as the ability to buy all physical pieces at production value. If goals are met, we aim to compensate all contributors with a full physical bundle, and if possible, shipping. If this zine is to be P4P and for-profit, any profit remaining will be split amongst the mod team and contributors.

What country are you shipping from? Where will you be shipping to?
We will be shipping from the USA and anywhere that USPS will be shipping to. There are some countries excluded so please check their site.
